Basic Education Minister Ms Siviwe Gwarube and Free State Education MEC, Dr MJ Maboya, will on Thursday 14 August host the Free State G20 Provincial Education Indaba.<\/p>\n

This flagship event, held under the theme \u2019Enhancing Educational Outcomes for a Sustainable Future,\u2019 <\/strong><\/em>the Free State Education Indaba serves as a response to President Cyril Ramaphosa’s recent call for public involvement in the G20 discussions, focusing on the education agenda for the 2025 summit which will focus on two critical priorities, namely:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Early Childhood Care and Education: Quality foundational learning for a strong start. <\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. Professional Development: Empowering teachers for a changing world. <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Roughly 400 delegates, including inter alia, international guests from G20 and SADC countries, academics, senior government officials, SGBs, teachers\u2019 unions, and private sector partners, are expected to attend.<\/p>\n

    Members of the Media are invited to attend the Indaba and will be afforded interviews with the Minister and MEC as follows: <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
